In the Administrative Action entitled In the Matter of Assure Health Care Providers Assure, a Home and Community Based Service (HBCS) provider, sought administrative review by an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) of the decision of the Louisiana Department of Health to impose a monetary penalty of $317, 868.27 for an eight month lapse of worker’s compensation coverage. Jeff Goldman is an experienced litigator whose practice includes commercial litigation, insurance coverage and defense, professional liability, employment law, and construction law. He also has over a decade of experience in oil & gas law and environmental law, both in litigation, regulatory, and transactional practice. He has extensive experience with complex, high-stakes litigation.
Jeff has made multiple educational presentations to oil and gas industry groups, and published multiple articles in Landman magazine, the publication of the American Association of Professional Landmen.
Jeff lives in New Orleans with his wife Amanda (also a lawyer), and his children Jackson, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Truman. His pastimes are deer hunting and reading the poetry and prose of Rudyard Kipling.
