Aaron & Gianna, PLC is pleased to announce that Judge Carolyn Gill-Jefferson (ret.) has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Judge Gill-Jefferson is a retired judge of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans.   During her tenure on the court she served as Chief Judge.  Subsequent to her service on the bench, Judge Gill-Jefferson served as a Visiting Professor of Civil Law at the Mississippi College School of Law. Career Overview

Lezly is a native New Orleanian and earned her Bachelor's Degree at Louisiana State University and her law degree from Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama where she served on Law Review.  After serving as a federal law clerk for one year in Mobile, Alabama, Lezly returned home in 1999 to practice law.  Lezly has over 15 years of experience primarily in the area of litigation representing a variety of clients over her career.  Lezly practices in the areas of toxic torts and environmental law, commercial and complex litigation, construction law, and insurance.  Lezly also handles business and transactional matters and has extended her practice to include representing public entities and private corporations with commercial transactions, litigation and navigating state and municipal government law.
