FLOYD JOINS NEW PRACTICE GROUP
Aaron, PLC is pleased to announce the formation of its Government Investigations and Criminal Defense Practice Group. This practice group aims to satisfy a growing need in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area for the representation of businesses, corporate executives and public officials with respect to government investigations and criminal law. The practice group's areas of concentration will include local, state and federal administrative agency investigations, state and federal grand jury investigations, white collar, public corruption and civil rights criminal defense, qui tam actions and other parallel proceedings.
Aaron, PLC is additionally pleased to announce that Marion D. Floyd a member of the Louisiana Bar has become Of counsel to the firm in the areas of Government Investigations and Criminal Defense. Mr. Floyd earned Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Louisiana State University, and a Law Degree from Loyola University College of Law where he was a member of its National Moot Court Team. Mr. Floyd has served for many years on the faculty of the National Institute For Trial Advocacy, and the skills faculty at Loyola Law School. He has extensive experience in the defense of persons charged with state and federal crimes. Mr. Floyd is a Member of the Criminal Justice Act Panel of the Federal Public Defender for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and the Conflict Panel for the Orleans Parish Public Defender's Office. He is a former Senior Intelligence Analyst for the U. S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and a former Systems Analyst for the U. S.Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Floyd will continue his solo general practice which is based in Kenner, Louisiana.
