Williams Named To Examiner Post

The Louisiana Supreme Court upon the recommendation of the Louisiana State Bar Association has appointed DeWayne L. Williams, Esq to a five year term as a member of the Committee on Bar Admissions.    In this capacity he will serve as the Bar Examiner for Constitutional Law replacing Kelly Legier.    DeWayne is a Senior Associate Attorney with the law firm of Aaron, PLC, and a former law clerk to the Honorable Piper Griffin Judge of the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans. 

As the Bar Examiner for Constitutional Law DeWayne will be tasked with the responsibility for writing and grading the Constitutional Law Exam which is given as part of the overall Louisiana State Bar Examination.    He will additionally be responsible for supervising the activities of over thirty (30) Assistant Bar Examiners.  

DeWayne is active in bar related activities.      He currently serves as a Hearing Committee Chairman/Lawyer Member with the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board.  DeWayne has served as an Assistant Bar Examiner since 2007.
