In Carver Theater, LLC et al vs Kristen Melancon et al the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans was misled into referring the case for Arbitration before a panel of three Arbitrators. At the conclusion of the Arbitration which ended with an Award in favor of the Defendants, the Plaintiffs moved the Arbitrators to vacate their Award based on testimony given during the Arbitration by the defendant Kristen Melancon that she never intended to honor the contract at issue…

Career Overview
Shantrell Frost was admitted to the Louisiana Bar in October of 2024. She graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she received a Certificate in Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending law school, she worked as a Legal Assistant, Summer Paralegal, and Student Intern with various local law firms.
While at Loyola, Ms. Frost served as a staff member of the Loyola Moot Court and held an executive board position as the Secretary for the A.P. Tureaud Chapter of the Black Law Student Association. She also worked as a Legal Intern at the Stuart A. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice, as a Law Clerk at a local law firm and as an Extern with Ochsner Health.
