HAGER ELECTED TO CHAMBER BOARD
Rose Hager a Shareholder and Director at Aaron & Gianna, PLC was elected to the Board of Directors of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Meeting held at the Hyatt-Regency Hotel in New Orleans on December 17, 2014.
Rose has been a practicing attorney since 1999 and is licensed in both Louisiana and Mississippi. She is a graduate of the University of New Orleans and Loyola University School of Law.
Rose chairs the firm’s Business and Transactions Practice Group. She focuses her practice mainly in the area of complex commercial transactions and litigation with an emphasis on hospitals, physicians and other health care facilities and providers. Rose primarily counsels health care professionals on complex laws and regulations governing health care business entities and guides them in structuring their investments and transactions accordingly. She has represented health care organizations in Fraud and False Claims Act investigations and proceedings on the federal level. She has also assisted health care professionals seeking licensing; undergoing peer review actions; or in actions before administrative agencies.
Over the years, Rose has expanded her practice to include state and municipal government law; labor and employment law; banking, finance and trust law; real estate transactions; and wills and estate planning.
Rose is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education programs on health care and other topics. She is active in several trade associations and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Transactional Alliance Practice Committee of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). She was installed as Co-Chair at NAMWOLF's Annual Meeting held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania September 21-24, 2014.
