W. Glenn Burns Joins Firm
Aaron & Gianna, PLC is pleased to announce that W. Glenn Burns has joined the firm as Of Counsel. He will practice in the areas of Products Liability, Insurance, Professional Liability, Public Utilities, Government and Corporate Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense.
In a diverse career, Glenn has been an Assistant Attorney General of Louisiana, an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and a Partner in two prominent local law firms. He has handled criminal matters in such areas as white collar criminal defense and prosecution of present and former public officials, banking and corporate executives. Civil litigation includes defense of wrongful death, toxic tort, mass tort class actions, qui tam claims, legal and medical malpractice claims and civil RICO matters.
In non-litigation matters, Glenn has handled public utility regulation and internal investigations for government contractors, hospitals and public utilities.
Glenn received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Hebert Law Center. His education additionally includes the University of Houston Career Prosecutor School and the Loyola University Institute of Politics.
Glenn is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Supreme Court and all inferior courts of Louisiana; the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana; the United States Courts of Appeal for the 5th and 11th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States.
