Warwick Joins Salt Lake City Office
Aaron & Gianna, PLC A Professional Law Corporation is pleased to announce that Jeffrey K. Warwick, Esq. has joined the firm as Special Counsel in its Salt Lake City, Utah office.
Jeff is a native New Orleanian who moved to Salt Lake City in 2008. A graduate of the Paul M. Hebert School of Law at Louisiana State University, he has enjoyed over twenty-five years of practicing law in both private practice and as in-house counsel. Jeff is licensed to practice in Utah as well as Louisiana. Jeff represents many different clients, from individuals to businesses, who seek his help with commercial litigation, insurance litigation, labor and employment matters, mergers and/or acquisitions, and general business matters. Jeff also does consulting work for business start-ups and international trade issues.
Prior to joining Aaron & Gianna, PLC, Jeff served as General Counsel to CVSL Inc, a publicly traded company that went from the OTCQX market to the NYSE under Jeff’s tenure. Jeff has worked on initial public offerings as well as at the market offerings. In his capacity as General Counsel he has been responsible for large corporate acquisitions both domestically and internationally.
Prior to working in the public arena for CVSL Inc Jeff served as General Counsel to Agel Enterprises, LLC, a privately held direct selling company that had operations in over 50 countries worldwide. Jeff was instrumental in all legal aspects of international operations including but not limited to product registration, regulatory compliance, customs and importation, consumer protection and credit matters. He has vast experience in international law and has appeared, lobbied and argued before regulatory agencies in countries such as Italy, Finland, France, Spain, Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia
Prior to working in-house as General Counsel, Jeff was in private practice and was a founding partner of the law firm of Leblanc, Miranda, DeLaup and Warwick. Following hurricane Katrina, Jeff moved his private practice to the Chopin, Wagar, Richard and Kutcher law firm where Jeff practiced for several years before moving to Utah. As Jeff is admitted to practice in both Utah and Louisiana, Jeff has appeared in state courts throughout Louisiana and Utah. Jeff has served as lead trial attorney in various state and federal jurisdictions in Louisiana and has oversaw litigation as General Counsel in the state and federal court systems of Utah.
Jeff is active in the community and has been a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel including the Midwest Chapter. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his family and children.
