In Maqubool et al vs Sewerage and Water Board of New Orleans the Plaintiffs filed two nearly identical lawsuits in the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans seeking to enjoin the Sewerage and Water Board from contracting with a consultant to fill certain key vacancies. Our attorneys have represented developers and land owners in a variety of land use and zoning matters. Such matters have included representation before planning commissions, boards of zoning adjustment, historic district commissions and other administrative agencies as well as before trial and appellate courts. Our attorneys have served as consultants to governmental bodies on land use and zoning matters and assisted in the draft of sections of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of a large Louisiana city.
